‍Slingit is intended only for federally licensed firearms dealers (FFLs) located in the United States.Each FFL may authorize employees or contractors (“Authorized Users”) to use the App on its behalf.We treat Authorized User data (e.g., names, work emails, and in-App activity) as business-related information tied to the FFL account, not as consumer data.Nevertheless, we handle all such information with the same care and transparency described here.

‍3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information You Provide‍
Account Details: Name, business email, phone number, store name, FFL number, and password.
Appraisal Content: Firearm photos and descriptions uploaded for valuation or listing.
Camera Access: The App uses your device’s camera only to capture appraisal images you choose to take; images are stored securely in the App’s cloud environment.
Support Requests: Information shared in technical or account-related inquiries.
3.2 Automatically Collected Information
‍Device & Usage Data: Device model, operating system version, IP address, timestamps, crash logs, and feature-usage metrics.
‍Analytics: We use Google Analytics and Datadog to understand performance and feature usage. These tools collect pseudonymized usage and error data; no personally sensitive or financial data are collected.We do not request or store user location.We do not access contacts, messages, or files beyond what you intentionally upload.

‍4. How We Use Information
‍We use collected data to:Operate, maintain, and improve the App;Authenticate FFL accounts and ensure authorized access;Provide customer support and troubleshooting;Enhance appraisal accuracy and AI performance;Communicate service updates and security notices;Comply with applicable laws and regulations.We do not sell or rent user data and do not display advertising within the App.

‍Service Providers: Vendors such as AWS (for hosting), Google Analytics (for usage analytics), Datadog (for performance monitoring), and OpenAI (for AI-driven valuations) under strict confidentiality agreements.

‍Business Transfers: If VividPath merges or transfers assets, your business account data may be part of that transaction.We do not share data with advertisers or data brokers.

‍Data are retained only as long as necessary to operate the App, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes.When no longer needed, data are deleted or anonymized.

For California residents, we voluntarily honor the principles of the California Consumer Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), even though Slingit operates as a B2B platform.

‍Slingit is not directed to individuals under 18.We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

‍10. Data Storage and Processing
‍All data are stored and processed within the United States.We do not transfer or process data internationally.
